Description

UIT will replace network devices connected to the internet from 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024, to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2024. This hardware life-cycle maintenance is necessary to ensure network infrastructure at the university is running efficiently. Network downtime is not expected, however, users may experience intermittent network slowness when accessing the internet while on campus or accessing university resources via the internet (e.g., through a virtual private network). A reminder about this maintenance event will be posted in the IT Community channel in Microsoft Teams. If you have questions, your local IT support staff may be able to assist, or you may contact your respective help desk: UIT Help Desk (801-581-4000) or ITS Service Desk (801-587- 6000).
